Mission Statement of S.I.A. , the Aruban Engineering Society™ : To enable the Aruban engineer to improve him/her-self in a specific professional field by facilitating all the necessary tools and information on the latest developments in their specific engineering fields. To provide information and leadership to the engineering profession on issues of concern to the public or the profession. To serve society and to be recognized by national and international organizations, the public and government, as an independent and respected entity, and a valuable source of advice and guidance on policies and on interesting concerns that relate engineering and technology to the human and natural environment. To facilitate communication between its members. To facilitate relationships between government, business and people by bringing an engineering dimension to discussions on policies and investment-related matters. To promote interest for the engineering profession under our local youth in Aruba.
